Awesome Sale on Kids Clothing!!!!

So this is the third time I have attempted to write this blog. I keep having technical difficulties or I should say a mommy moment. So hopefully the third time is a charm. So I'll get right to it.

Carter's is currently having a $6 and Up Summer Sale online and in store. I absolutely love Carter's stuff and love shopping for new clothes for my daughter. I don't have a Carter's store nearby so I ordered online. For store locations, click here. Now when you order online you charged for shipping ($6 standard shipping, $25 Overnight shipping). I got 5 outfits for about $44 and that amount includes the shipping charge. Each piece of clothing I purchased was $6. I was also lucky enough to find an online coupon on www.retailmenot.com which brought the price of each piece down to $4.80. That's a total savings of $8.40.

  • Save 20% Off Your Purchase of $40 or More. Expires 5/23/13.
                    Coupon Code: BUTTERFLY

Here's what I got starting from left to right:

  1. Pink Flamingo Short-Sleeve Graphic Bodysuit Size 24m
  2. Pink Flamingo Cap-Sleeve Graphic Tee and Pink French Terry Pull-On Shorts Size 24m
  3. Teal Striped Swing Tank and Lime Green French Terry Pull-On Shorts Size 2t
  4. Blue Flutter-Sleeve Creeper Size 24m
  5. Hot Pink Cap Sleeve Striped Creeper Size 24m
Sizing depends if you go to the Baby section (size nb-24m) or Toddler section (size 2t-5t). The sale applies to both.

I have to say I'm extremely happy with what I got. I get a little nervous about ordering online, however, everything was beyond my expectations. The sizing runs a little big but that just means that my little one has room to grow and every mom loves that. Enjoy!

I love buying good quality items for a budget friendly price. Here is a list of my favorite store brand baby items.

1.) White Cloud Premium Baby Diapers $6.97-$15.97, Walmart

These are good quality diapers for alot less than the name brands. They are quite sturdy and hold up to baby's messes. They have nice big tabs and have a jungle theme design. I know that the smallest pack I've purchased has 31 diapers for $6.97 and the largest pack has 82 for $15.97, both are in size 4.

2.) Parent's Choice Baby Wipes $1.47-$11.97, Walmart

These are my absolute favorite store brand wipes. I always get the baby fresh scent or the cucumber. They also have senstive skin and unscented. I love these as they not only good for diaper changes but also to clean up baby's hand and face. A single pack is $1.47, while you can get a 3 pack (240 ct) for $4.74. They have a bigger package with 700 ct for $11.97. The cucumber scented ones I have only found in a single pack, however I wish they had them in the bigger packs because they smell amazing.

3.) Dollar General Creamy Diaper Rash Ointment $2, Dollar General

I like this better than the Johnson and Johnson's brand. The Jonhson and Johnson's made my daughter break out. This is super creamy and gets the job done.

4.) Up & Up Baby Powder $2, Target

This is the exact same thing as the name brand but half the price. It smells amazing and comes in a huge 22oz bottle.

5.) Comforts for Toddler Training Pants $11, Kroger

These are the same thing as the Huggies Little Movers Slip-on diapers, well that's how I use them. My daughter is a little young for potty training. They have a wetness indicator to let you know when they are wet. These are great for a store brand and have a super cute design. You can get 58 pants for about $11.

White Cloud Premium Baby Diapers

I found these White Cloud diapers at my local Walmart. I've seen them there for about a month before I made the decision to purchase them. First of all my daughter is 13 months old and I primarily used Pampers and Huggies since she was born. However, I found out thats Luvs are made by the same company as Pampers and they cost less. I had also been told by other moms about how great Luvs were so we made the switch. The first month wasn't bad however, the last 3 weeks my daughter can have a Luvs diaper on for only 2 hours and leaks through everytime. So this lead me to try the White Cloud diapers which I absolutely love. They hold up well through the night and no leaks. They seem to be more sturdy than Luvs. They remind of a good mixture of Pampers and Huggies. Never had a tab break and they fit baby well. I'm extremely happy with these and will continue to purchase. I highly recommend these not only for the quality but the price as well. They run $6.98-$15.97, size determines quantity. The best low cost diaper I have ever used.
